Get ready for “The Get Down,” an upcoming Netflix drama by Baz Luhrmann and Shawn Ryan that stars Jimmy Smits and Jaden Smith, who plays a young graffiti artist from the South Bronx.
The show, which will air in August, shot some scenes at 216 E. 21st St., a home in Brooklyn’s Flatbush neighborhood.
The spread is now on the market for $1.92 million. The four-story home is 3,507 square feet and owned by the father of one of the show’s characters.
“The Get Down” is described as a “mythic saga,” over 10 years in the making, about how 1970s-era New York — on the brink of bankruptcy — gave birth to hip hop, punk and disco.
It shoots on location around the Bronx, in SoHo, at the old CBGB, at Studio 54 and at the then-new Twin Towers. The listing broker is Jamaal Davis, of Citi Habitats.
