Man chased, shot in Brooklyn

A 25-year-old man was shot in Brooklyn by someone who chased him along Howard Avenue on Monday evening before fleeing in a car, cops said Tuesday.

The man was standing in front of 169 Howard Ave. when he was approached by the gunman, who opened fire after getting out of a car.

The victim tried to flee south on Howard Avenue but the shooter chased him and continued firing before making his getaway in the vehicle.

The man was listed in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital with wounds to his torso and leg.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the incident that shows the suspect, who is wearing black clothing and an American flag bandanna over his face.
