Wife of alleged gunman in deadly Michigan attack files for divorce

The wife of the Michigan Uber driver who allegedly murdered six people in a spree of three random shootings has filed for divorce.

Carole Dalton filed papers in Kalamazoo County Circuit Court after her husband, Jason Brian Dalton, allegedly went on the Feb. 20 rampage, which also left two people seriously injured.

The Daltons, who married in 1995, have two children, ages 15 and 10.

Carole Dalton is seeking sole custody of the kids and child support from her husband’s 401(k) plan.

The filing said “there has been a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent the objects of matrimony have been destroyed and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved.”

Jason Dalton, 45, was making $50,000 a year at Michigan Appraisal Co. in addition to his Uber gig.

He faces six counts of murder, two counts of assault with intent to commit murder and eight counts of felony firearm use.
