Semi slams into 2 cars, sending BMW through dentist’s wall

Usually, Staten Island dentist Dr. Konstantin Moyseystev deals with impacted teeth.

But on Friday morning, it was his impacted Beemer that needed extraction — after it was rear-ended through the front of his office in a freak accident.

The BMW X5 had been parked in the driveway of Moyseystev’s Beach Avenue home practice when a Mack truck went out of control on nearby Hylan Boulevard around 7:30 a.m., police said.

The 40-year-old driver of the Flag Container Service truck told cops he’d lost control while choking on his coffee. The truck crashed through two fences and struck a Hyundai Elantra before rear-ending the parked Beemer.

“He’s kinda still in shock,” office manager Lena Zalesski told The Post of the dentist, who lives upstairs from the practice and was uninjured.

“He doesn’t know what to do,” said Zalesski, who was on her way to work at the time of the crash.

“It was very scary, believe me,” she added. “Thank God it came when no one was there.” God saved us.”

Moyseystev plans to be closed for the next few days, she added.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 63-year-old woman, was treated for head pain at Staten Island University Hospital and released, police said.

The driver has not been charged with a crime. The truck owners, Flag Container Service, declined to comment.
