Yoenis Cespedes found (at least) one more ridiculous car

PORT ST. LUCIE — Yoenis Cespedes’ wild ride will continue at least another day.
The flamboyant outfielder is expected to arrive for workouts Friday in an Avorza AV2 that Miami-based dealer Alex Vega calls “one of the craziest Jeeps I have ever built.”

After indicating a day earlier he didn’t have additional cars, Cespedes arrived Thursday in an Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione that retails for about $250,000. Other rides this week have included a monster-sized, customized Ford F-250, a Polaris slingshot three-wheeler and a black Lamborghini Aventador.

Cespedes’ teammates have enjoyed the show.

“It seems like an ‘MTV Cribs’ type thing where who knows what is going to be next?” Matt Harvey said. “I think we’re all excited to see whatever he has to offer for us.”
