A woman who flew from Newark to San Francisco claimed her luggage was opened — and urinated in — by an airline employee.
United Airlines insisted that none of its workers would have committed such a grotesque act, but nonetheless bought new luggage for passenger Laura Henry, TMZ reported on Thursday.
Henry said she didn’t notice anything was wrong until she opened her luggage in California last week, saw yellow stains and smelled urine.
Henry said her stained clothes reeked of pee but she managed to get both the stains and smells out after a few washes.
A rep for United did not immediately return messages seeking the carrier’s comment on Thursday.
