Cops wrangled a lost possum from in front of a Midtown office building on Thursday after surprised passersby called 911, authorities said.
The animal was discovered by several pedestrians as it sat in front of an entrance at 675 Third Avenue near Grand Central Terminal around 11 a.m.
Cops from the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit trapped the ugly critter in a cage and then delivered it to an Animal Care and Control facility in Harlem.
The animal did not appear to be in distress when cops came upon it, officials said.
It’s unclear how the animal ended up there.
