This brilliant woman works out while drinking wine

“In vino veritas” — and apparently sculpted muscles.

That seems to be the motto of April Storey, a 24-year-old Northern California mother, who turned to the grape when she needed to squeeze in more workouts. And her intoxicating brand of fitness has the Internet buzzing.

“I was getting ready to do a workout, and I saw the wine there and I’m like, ‘You know, that would be kind of funny to incorporate wine into this workout video,” Storey told CNN.

She began using wine bottles in place of dumbbells while doing lunges and arm curls. She even squeezed in sips of Jesus juice in between sets.
And thus was born the Wine Workout.

The toned Storey posted the 15-second video of her spirited routine on Facebook and it was shared like secrets after a night on the sauce.

The video was viewed by roughly 25 million people, including “Star Trek’s” George Takei who commented “Quit wine-ing and work out.”

And people have started sending Storey their own “wine workouts.”

“What I want to show people with my videos is that fitness is something you can do everyday, you can do it anywhere and you can use anything,” Storey said.
