Murder witness stabbed twice during fight on bus

A 20-year-old witness to a murder was stabbed in both hands in a dispute with two men on a Bronx bus Wednesday morning, police said.

Clyde “Yung” McGraw was slashed once in each hand while fighting with the men on the BX2 bus at East 181 Street and Grand Concourse about 11 a.m., police sources said.

It’s unclear what sparked the fight or whether it may have been tied to the murder case, sources said.

The bus driver closed all doors to his vehicle to try to keep the suspects inside while waiting for the cops. But McGraw’s assailants climbed through the emergency window and fled, police sources said.

Cops had been seeking McGraw for questioning as a witness in a 2012 Bronx homicide, sources said.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

He has been arrested 11 times on charges that include possessing a dangerous weapon, drugs, criminal trespass, robbery and assault dating back to 2010.
