Police have released a photo of the man suspected of trying to lure a 14-year-old girl on her way home from school in Sheepshead Bay. The girl was approached by the suspect on Feb. 16 at about 4:40 p.m. on East Seventh Street, police said. The stranger put his arm around the girl and made several suggestive comments before asking her to come home with him, according to police sources. When she tried to run away, he grabbed her arm. After a brief struggle, the girl was able to escape. The suspect is described as about 20 years old, 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds.

A knife-wielding crook robbed an East New York discount store, cops said. The suspect walked into the 99-Cent Store on Blake Avenue near Pennsylvania Avenue on Feb. 10 at about 1:45 p.m., police said. He pulled a knife on the clerk and made off with $487 from the cash register before fleeing north of Sheffield Avenue. Cops believe the man is about 25 years old, about 6- feet tall and 155 pounds.He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a black hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.

A hooded gunman tried to rob a Greenpoint gas station but fled-empty handed after a store employee refused his demands, police said. The would-be robber walked into a BP Station on Morgan Avenue near Meeker Avenue about 11:15 a.m. Sunday and pointed his firearm at a 50-year-old male customer, police said. The suspect then dragged the customer to the front of the store and aimed his gun at the clerk behind the counter and demanded cash, cops said. When the employee refused to give him any dough, the armed suspect tried to grab cash himself from the register. He was unsuccessful and fled the station. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a dark gray hoodie and dark pants.

The Bronx

A woman in Fordham Heights fought off a creep who pistol-whipped her, cops said. The would-be robber pulled the victim, 32, into an alleyway near Grand Concourse and Field Place around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2, then pulled out a gun and demanded money. After the victim refused to hand over her cash, the brute struck her in the face with his gun, cops said. After a brief struggle, she was able to escape while her assailant fled empty-handed. The man is described as around 40 years old, about 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds. He was last seen with a black knapsack and wearing a black skullcap, a dark jacket, jeans and black sneakers.

Cops released surveillance photos of two of the three suspects wanted for beating up a 50-year-old man and tossing hot water at his face in Kingsbridge. The victim was walking on West Kingsbridge Road at 10:45 p.m. Feb. 21 when two thugs approached him and struck up a conversation. Once they got to the intersection of Davidson Avenue, a third man jumped in, and they began beating the victim. The thugs repeatedly punched and kicked the victim before throwing hot water on his face, cops said. The victim sustained second-degree burns and was taken to Jacobi Hospital.

Staten Island

A 28-year-old man was arrested for raping and robbing a woman inside her Mariners Harbor office building, police said. Maurice Scott was nabbed just before midnight Monday and charged with rape, robbery, and criminal sex act, police said. The hulking suspect allegedly raped a 44-year-old woman Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the building on Forest Avenue. In addition to the brutal sex attack, Scott also robbed the woman’s jewelry and Samsung cellphone, authorities said.

Queens

A drunken man hoping to get lucky followed a woman he had just met to an Elmhurst hotel, where he was slashed and robbed by her and a male accomplice, police sources said. The 43-year-old victim told police he was highly intoxicated when he got a room at 4:30 a.m. Monday inside The Metro Hotel on Queens Boulevard for himself and the unidentified woman, sources said. When the two entered the room, the victim noticed another man already sitting inside. The woman then slashed the victim on the arm with an unknown object, and the two suspects robbed him of $1,200 and an iPhone, police sources said. The victim ran to the front desk and was later taken to Elmhurst Hospital. He was so sloshed that he couldn’t provide investigators with a good description of either suspect, sources said.
