First Nicki Minaj gave Drake a show to remember with her lap dance in 2014’s “Anaconda” video, now Rihanna is giving him an eyeful in the new clip for “Work” — the first single from her new album “Anti.”
The first part of the 7 1/2 minute double-video (released online Monday) takes place in a Caribbean restaurant, and features the duo getting hot and heavy as a party rages behind them. The second half is where they go one-on-one, with Drake watching from a sofa as RiRi twerks it at point-blank range. Unsurprisingly, the Canadian looks like he’s won the lottery.
Rumors about Drake and Rihanna dating have surfaced again recently (even Ellen DeGeneres teased her about it during an appearance on “Ellen” earlier this month). Rihanna claims she is single, but their chemistry in the video to “Work” suggests their relationship might be just a little bit more than mere brunch buddies.
The video is the closest thing to a performance that Rihanna fans may see for a few weeks. Last Monday, her scheduled Grammys appearance was pulled at the last minute. Meanwhile the start of the “Anti” world tour has been postponed until March 12, due to “production delays.”
