The season finale of “The X-Files” (Monday at 9 p.m. on Fox) brings back Joel McHale as TV show host character Tad O’Malley, who has been absent since the premiere — when he enlisted the help of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) to investigate an alleged government conspiracy.
Ahead of the final episode, McHale took questions from The Post.
In the premiere, Tad drinks champagne with Scully in his limo. Does his courting of her continue in this episode?
It would, but from what’s happening in the world there’s really no time for romance.
