German count being sued in NY by ex-wife wants to haul her back to Europe

A German count — whose ex-wife is suing him for $2.5 million in child support — wants to haul his former spouse to the Hague for fleeing Europe with their kids.

“What my client’s trying to do right now is weighing whether to start a Hague petition because the mother unlawfully left for America with the children, making it impossible for him to visit,” said an attorney for Carl-Eduard Graf von Bismarck, scion of the legendary Chancellor Otto von Bismarck.

The Countess Nathalie von Bismarck left London six months ago and settled in Manhattan with Alexei, 9, and Grace, 6.

“Now she has home turf advantage,” the count’s attorney, Joel Yacoob, griped.

Family law expert Michael Stutman, who is not involved in the case, said the deadline for Bismarck to plead his case before the international court may have already expired.

“The time to make an objection in another country may have passed,” Stutman said.

Yacoob said Bismarck still plans to contest the $2.5 million child support payment in Manhattan Family Court.

The countess told The Post, “I want nothing more than for him to have a healthy relationship with his children.”
