Bad news for “Deadpool” fans: Looks like the R-rated superhero won’t be hosting “Saturday Night Live” anytime soon.
After a fan created a petition last week calling for Ryan Reynolds to host the NBC sketch show in character, Reynolds posted a video response that has Deadpool spoofing Kanye West’s recent epic “SNL” meltdown.
The 43-second video has audio of Deadpool accusing “SNL” of taking his “Life of Pablo” album, calls Rip Taylor a “fake ass” and labeling himself “50 percent more influential” than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot and the Kia Sorrento.
“Saturday Night Live” has yet to respond to the petition, but we’ve got to say, Reynolds’ clever response just makes us want him as a host even more.
