You can now live like a musical legend, but not exactly for a song.

A townhouse where famed Broadway composer Cole Porter — best known for “Kiss Me, Kate” — once dwelled is now on the market for $6.45 million.

The four-story home, used as stables during the Civil War era, is tucked away behind a private gate off East 36th Street.

The secret, gated community is home to a group of 10 townhouses. The hidden enclave is known as Sniffen Court, which later housed Claudia Schiffer and Lenny Kravitz.

Porter’s former home, at 156 E. 36th St., is 3,865 square feet and comes with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

We hear that Porter kept a close boyfriend nearby, at 4 Sniffen Court — far from his suite at the Waldorf Astoria, where he also held residence, and his “marriage of convenience.”

Porter’s Sniffen Court townhouse also housed an engraver’s studio in 1915.

Current neighbors include Irish talk show host Graham Norton, who lives at 6 Sniffen Court.

The listing brokers are Corcoran’s Lydia Sussek and Irene O’Halloran.
