Teenager slashes, stabs victim in the Bronx

A knife-wielding 16-year-old boy slashed a 15-year-old boy across the arm in the Bronx Friday night, police sources said.

The assailant, whose name is being withheld because of his age, slashed and stabbed the victim in his left forearm during a dispute at West 168th Street near Ogden Avenue at around 9:55 p.m., sources said.

The victim, who suffered a deep laceration, was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he needed surgery.

Police recovered a knife from the suspect’s jacket. The Bronx teen was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, sources said.
