It’s going to be really hard for Kendrick Lamar to not win a Grammy on Monday night. He’s nominated for 11 awards, including Album of the Year, Best Rap Album and Song of the Year.
Sports betting apps have spun a few numbers for us, with Lamar and Taylor Swift fighting it out to win Song of the Year. Lamar’s “Alright” is a 3-to-1, as is Swift’s “Blank Space,” favorites in the category.
Swift is also in a tough battle for Record of the Year, which could also go to “Blank Space” with 3-to-1 odds, or Mark Ronson (featuring Bruno Mars) for “Uptown Funk,” also 3-to-1.
Not surprisingly, odds are 4-to-1 that Kanye West will have the most tweeted-about performance of the night. (Perhaps pharma-bro Martin Shkreli will make a renewed bid to lock up Kanye’s newly released “Life of Pablo” album.) The odds of James Taylor creating a kerfuffle are just 1,500-to-1.
