Police identified a suspect Tuesday evening who is wanted for sexually assaulting and robbing a woman in Manhattan on Saturday morning.
Gregory Anderson is suspected of tackling a woman who was crossing 2nd Avenue at East 94th Street in Yorkville at 5 a.m., police said.
He forced her to walk further down the street, where he assaulted the frightened woman and stole $40 from her, cops said.
The victim escaped his grasp and ran to a nearby store to hide, cops said.
Police received a tip that identified Anderson, 32, after they released surveillance footage of him on Monday evening.
Anderson stands 5-foot-7 and weighs about 145 pounds. He remains at large.
