‘Fuller House’ is stuck in the ‘90s in first trailer

It’s been more than 20 years since “Full House” ended, but it seems the Tanner family’s quirky neighbor Kimmy Gibbler is still stuck in the ’90s.

In the first trailer for its Netflix sequel series “Fuller House,” Kimmy (Andrea Barber) breaks out her best MC Hammer dance moves and chafes at Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) that she might be behind the times.

“My moves are all that and a bag of chips — talk to the hand, loser!” she says.

The 75-second trailer (which starts at the 2:30 mark in the “Ellen” clip) also manages to work in such classic “Full House” catchphrases as “Cut it out,” “Have mercy” and “How rude.”

“Fuller House,” which reunites the now-older cast on the original set, centers around a grown-up DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure) living in the San Francisco townhouse with her three sons. With DJ recently widowed, sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy and her daughter move in to help her take care of the kids.

John Stamos (who played Jesse Katsopolis), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Lori Loughlin (Becky Katsopolis) and Scott Weinger (Steve Hale) will all make guest appearances in the sequel. And while Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t involved in the project, Cameron-Bure tells Ellen DeGeneres that there will be references to their character, Michelle.

“Fuller House” premieres Feb. 26 on Netflix.
