From husband to my wife's wingwoman

This married couple are both looking for the same thing — Mr. Right.

Three years ago, Claire Atkins was stunned when her husband of six years, beefy bodybuilder Marcus Atkins, told her he wanted to be a woman.

She stood by her man as he sold off his motorcycle to pay for his new 36E breasts, changed his name to Celeste, and this past December, completed the transformation with gender reassignment surgery.

Now Celeste has a new role in Claire’s life — as her wingwoman as they both prowl the English countryside for the man of their dreams.

“We’re both very supportive and want each other to be happy and find someone who is suitable for each other,” Claire, 41, told Caters News Agency. “We go out most weekends so it’s quite normal now and have a lot of fun together playing wingwoman for each other.”

The former lovebirds enjoy going to local bars in Langworth, Lincolnshire, to scout possible lovers.

The good thing for the couple — who are raising three kids — is they never have to worry about fighting over the same guy.

“Our taste in men is totally opposite,” said Celeste, 37.

“She normally doesn’t agree with my choice of men,” Claire added. “She likes pretty boys and I prefer them all grungy and wearing greasy overalls, so it’s different.”

But it’s not all about landing the next stud — Celeste couldn’t have made it through her transition without her wife.

“I still love Claire to pieces. She’s been my rock and pushed me so hard to face the challenges of transgender surgery. I can’t thank her enough,” Celeste said.
