Woman reportedly stabbed sister in back with butcher knife

A 34-year-old woman stabbed her younger sister in the back with a butcher knife while visiting family in The Bronx, police sources said Sunday.

Jennifer Dillehay yelled “I don’t give a f- -k about you!” as she allegedly punctured her 33-year-old sister’s back twice with the large knife at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at 500 Trinity Ave. near Saint Mary’s Park, the sources said.

The wounded sister, whose name wasn’t released by authorities, was taken to Lincoln Hospital and required surgery for one large and one smaller puncture wound, the sources said.

She was expected to recover from her injuries.

Dillehay is on the lam, sources said.

It’s not clear what sparked the brawl, cops said.

The women were visiting their niece’s grandmother when the fight started, the sources said.

Relatives at the Woodstock apartment acknowledged that a stabbing had occurred there, but declined to go into detail about the incident.

“Yes, something happened here,” a woman said through a closed door.

“But the girls involved don’t even live here. I don’t want to get into it. Unless you are the police we aren’t talking to anyone.

“This is a family issue.”
