Johnny Manziel appears single. And he’s already mingling.
The nightlife-loving quarterback has spent the majority of his offseason checking out the Dallas social scene, and was spotted pounding bottles with an all-new party posse over the weekend. As captured in a video via Busted Coverage, Manziel attempts to take a swig of alcohol from a bottle — nearly a year after completing a stint in rehab — and cozies up to a brunette not named Colleen Crowley.
Crowley, who has been linked to the Heisman Trophy winner since 2014, has purged most of the remnants of their relationship from her Instagram (except one). Not to come off as a guy clinging to the past, Manziel has done the same with his own social feed.
The two have yet to officially confirm the breakup. But it seems their relationship was doomed since a roadside run-in with the cops in October. Manziel and Crowley seemed to patch things up following the alcohol-fueled argument, in which Crowley told police Manziel put his hands on her, but he reportedly faced pressure from the Browns to cut ties with his longtime gal pal.
Manziel was caught partying with a handful of college co-eds during a trip to Texas A&M in November, when an unnamed blonde reportedly canoodled with the 23-year-old pro.
The romantic travails are a footnote to Manziel’s ongoing soap opera with the Browns. The organization is seemingly ready to move on from the 2014 first-round pick. Before the final game of last season, Manziel went AWOL on the Browns, allegedly fleeing to Las Vegas under the alias of Billy Football to wine and dine the night away with pals on the Strip. Though the quarterback resurfaced in Ohio days later, he was fined by the organization for being a no-show.
