‘Agent Carter’ and comic book ‘Legends’ dominate this week’s must-watch TV

The Marvel series returns for its second season with a two-hour premiere that finds SSR Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) traveling from New York to LA to investigate a bizarre homicide involving a body that glows and emits cold. Peggy’s new life in Hollywood also sees her meet a quirky and charming scientist (Reggie Austin).

Had enough superhero shows yet? The CW is betting you haven’t with its latest DC Comics adaptation, this one centered on Time Master Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), who travels 150 years into the past to assemble an unlikely team of “Legends” to help him save the world from the villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in the year 2166.
