It took less than a week for El Chapo piñatas to become a thing

Mexican children will now have the opportunity to take a whack at drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman — a small shop has created a piñata of his likeness.

Ramirez — a popular piñateria in Reynosa, which sits close to the border of Mexico and Texas — made the candy-filled version of El Chapo after news broke of his recapture last week.

The piñata features a dirty version of the ruthless kingpin, who runs the Sinaloa cartel, in handcuffs with a white tank top and blue pants.

Ramirez revealed its latest creation Monday on Facebook, joking that just like El Chapo, there are options to “extradite the piñata to the United States.”

Not everyone takes a whack at the piñatas, which retail for between $28 and $56. Some customers buy them to keep as souvenirs, creator Dalton Avalos Ramirez told Spanish website Expreso.press.

The shop also made a piñata replica of Kate del Castillo, the Mexican actress who arranged a secret meeting between El Chapo and actor Sean Penn in September.

The party favor shows the brunette babe dressed up like her character from the hit telenovela “La Reina del Sur,” or “The Queen of the South,” in which she becomes a leader in a cartel after her gangster boyfriend is murdered.

As of Wednesday, there were no Penn piñatas yet.

El Chapo was snagged by Mexican authorities last Friday after months on the lam following his second escape from a maximum-security prison.
