Men beaten, robbed in Times Square before rush hour

A trio of thugs beat up two men in a brazen strong-arm robbery just before rush hour in the Times Square subway station, cops said.

The attack happened near a stairwell inside the 42nd Street station at Seventh Avenue just after 5:30 a.m., cops said.

The victims, 29 and 33, told police they were surrounded by three men who punched them in the face and head, cops said.

Then one of the robbers snatched the 29-year-old’s wallet.

The other victim grabbed the backpack of another thief as he tried to flee and held onto it, police sources said.

The victims suffered minor injuries.

No arrests have been made.
