LeBron James dispensing so much Christmas love

LeBron James is getting in the holiday spirit.

Though he was more Grinch than Santa when he told 20,000 Cavaliers fans the team “played like s–t” in Wednesday night’s win over the Knicks, The King’s generosity abounds as Christmas approaches.

A major recipient was 5-year-old Leah Still, the daughter of former Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still, with whom James forged a bond as she has waged a brave and public fight against cancer. Now, after more than a year of treatment, the latest scans showed Leah is cancer-free.

James helped her celebrate by sending an autographed jersey for her proud father to place under the tree:

James also went out of his way to give props to Mavericks great Dirk Nowitzki:

He did his best to make Kevin Love feel like one of the Cavaliers’ cool kids:

He convinced Kristaps Porzingis not to get into a situation that would be perilous to his health:

Certainly James also has something lovely in store for Warriors superstar Stephen Curry when their teams meet in the marquee feature on the NBA’s Dec. 25 slate. Because don’t think it escaped the ever-attentive four-time MVP’s notice when Curry recently told Time magazine he is the best player in the world:

“In my mind, yes,” Curry said. “That’s how I have confidence out there that I can play at a high level every night. I don’t get into debates, arguing with people about why I am versus somebody else. I feel like anybody who’s at the level I’m trying to be at, if you don’t think that when you’re on the floor, then you’re doing yourself a disservice.”
