A male Manhattan nanny was arrested for sexually abusing a child he babysat for six years beginning in 2008, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Milton Narvaez, 33, who also worked as a custodian at an Armenian church in Midtown, allegedly filmed some of the abuse.
Narvaez was busted during an investigation into online child pornography after law enforcement officials uncovered a trove of illegal images in his possession, according to prosecutors.
The investigation also revealed that the defendant likely abused other children who have yet to be identified, authorities said.
Prosecutors said Narvaez worked as a paid babysitter for several Manhattan families and that their investigation is ongoing.
Narvaez, who was hit with eight charges, was held without bail.
“Investigations into online sharing of images of child sexual assault can, and do, lead to those who sexually assault children,” said District Attorney Cy Vance.
