Couples feeding each other with chopsticks is PDA no-no at Chinese university

A Chinese university is trying to combat PDAs — by banning couples from flirtatiously feeding each other with chopsticks.

Jilin University of Architecture announced a new code of conduct that squashes “uncivilized behavior” including holding hands, cuddling and kissing, according to NBC News.

The university also nixed using spoons, chopsticks or other utensils to share food.

“Surely this must be a hoax?” one user wrote on Weibo, a social media site in China.

“I commend the administration for protecting the mental well-being of our single students,” another wrote mocking the policy, according to NBC.

Some questioned the policy’s timing, as Wednesday is Singles Day — a special occasion where various universities try to play matchmaker to hook students up with a life partner.
