Arnold Schwarzenegger replaces Trump as ‘Apprentice’ host

He’s baaack.

NBC has named Arnold Schwarzenegger the new host of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” replacing Donald Trump.

The former California governor and “Terminator” star will preside over the boardroom of celebrity contestants when the NBC reality show returns in the 2016-17 season.

Trump left his role with the show after seven seasons when he announced his run for the Republican presidential nomination earlier this summer.

Since leaving office in 2011, the 68-year-old Schwarzenegger has returned to his movie career, in “Terminator Genisys” “The Expendables” franchise and “The Last Stand.”

NBC referenced his “global brand in entertainment and business, and his accomplishments in the political arena” in the announcement naming him host of the business-focused reality series.
