A 51-year-old woman was struck by a van in the Flatiron District early Monday, cops said.
The motorist was on East 21st Street when he attempted to make a left turn onto Fifth Avenue and struck the woman at 8:48 a.m., according to police.
Cops said it wasn’t immediately clear if she was in the crosswalk when she was hit. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
The driver remained at the scene and no criminality is suspected at this time, police said.
