Cops were searching Sunday night for a woman who escaped custody in New York Downtown Hospital — with one hand still in a handcuff.
Tiffany Neumann, 23, was arrested Aug. 29 for allegedly walking out without paying check at an Upper West Side restaurant. She was also suspected of swiping a shirt from a nearby clothing store.
She’d been taken to the hospital after complaining of bruising and telling paramedics at Central Booking she might be pregnant.
At 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Neumann slipped out of her hospital gown and one cuff, sneaking past cops standing guard, police said.
