Two kids hurt after out-of-control SUV jumps curb

Two children were injured after being struck by an out-of-control SUV in Yonkers on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The young victims were in front of the US Post Office on Main Street when the white Ford Explorer suddenly jumped the curb about 3:15 p.m. and plowed into them, according to Yonkers police.

Their injuries are believed to be minor, with one child hurt in the shoulder.

Police said the accident appeared to be accidental.
