‘Bachelor’ villain gets the boot from his shady soul mate

The hillbilly has officially been given the boot.

Following weeks of sinister scheming with his shady soul mate Samantha Steffen, Joe Bailey was axed in the most shocking rose ceremony to date during Sunday night’s “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Despite overly schmoozing his lady love, Bailey was left dumbfounded the moment Steffen gave her slightly wilted red rose to his sworn enemy, Dan Cox.

“Why did you do that? This doesn’t make sense, Sam,” Bailey quizzes Steffen as he continues to lose his call. “I treated you like a princess.”

Clearly Steffen had wanted more (an actual crown, perhaps) and Cox was ready to give her his all — but not before bad-mouthing Bailey.

“I’m a pretty good judge of character,” Cox croons to the doe-eyed Steffen. “I get the sense that he’s [Bailey] nervous because he’s kind of playing a lie right now. He’s not being himself because he’s afraid to lose you. He’s afraid he’s going to be exposed.”

As Bailey watches the exchange from afar, he gathers the one ounce of dignity he has left to put a stop to Cox’s come-ons once and for all.

“When you’re in a relationship with the prettiest girl in the world, every guy is going to want to date her,” Bailey laments during his one-on-one interview. “When every guy wants to date her, every guy is going to bad-mouth the guy she’s with.”

Though Bailey believes he’s won this round — after sealing the deal with a sweet smooch — Cox has actually won the war, and Steffen seems rather pleased with her latest boy toy.

Before heading back to Paradise to grab a drink with Cox, Steffen says her final farewell to Bailey. But instead of hugging it out, the Kentucky native lets the insults fly.

“You’re going to have a lot of cats.”

Ouch.

“I really thought that I was going to leave Paradise with Sam,” Bailey pouts. “And for it to be going so well and for me to feel so good and then she goes and sends me home, it just doesn’t make sense.”

And while he promises an altercation with Cox should the pair be put in the same place again, Bailey pulls out one last trick from his bag of shade — the infamous text messages from Steffen.

“Do what u need to do to stay on, I don’t really care what,” Bailey reads. “Don’t get 100 percent wifed up.”

“Paradise is full of jealousy, and it’s fully of sneaky, cutthroat individuals, that’s all it’s full of,” the “Bachelorette” alum seethes.

While Steffen and Cox head back to camp to share their sob story, Bailey gets to the “anger” stage of handling grief and thinks of his former love as nothing but a “quickie.”

“Dammit. I should have f - - ked her brains out.”

Charming.
