An ice-cream crook scooped up more than $1,000 worth of frozen treats from trucks in Brooklyn, police said Tuesday.
The sticky-fingered bandit twice robbed trucks in a private lot on Sackett Street in Red Hook, in the wee hours Sunday and again Tuesday.
The thief first struck at 2 a.m. Sunday, breaking into nine trucks and taking $1,100 in Good Humor popsicles, eight Yogolicious ice-cream mixes worth $82, $140 in ice-cream cones and $40 worth of toppings, cops said.
A $400 Sony TV and $2,200 in cash also were reported missing, according to a police report.
In the second heist, two other trucks were robbed.
The man who manages the lot refused to provide more details.
“I really want them to catch these guys, [but] I don’t want them to think we are an easy target,” he said, adding that the lot’s owners are away on vacation.
Police said a second suspect with a sweet tooth is wanted for stealing frozen confections.
Cops are looking for a man in Queens who strolled into the CVS Pharmacy on Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach last week, swiped an estimated 25 Häagen-Dazs ice-cream bars and slashed an employee with a boxcutter.
