Mark Cuban’s creepy ‘makeup sex’ line about DeAndre Jordan

Mark Cuban seems to be handling the DeAndre Jordan saga about as well as you handled your last breakup.

The quotable Mavericks owner, still upset after feeling he had the free-agent center wrapped up before a last-second reversal, took another shot at Jordan’s decision to return to the Clippers — with a melancholy, cringe-worthy bedroom analogy.

“Makeup sex is always the best sex, but after it’s over you stare at that same face and realize the problems are the same,” Cuban told ESPN.

Who’s making up here? Cuban and Jordan, after the billionaire rejected the multi-millionaire’s attempts to apologize for jilting the Mavericks? Or Jordan and the Clippers (point guard Chris Paul, specifically), who seemed to be splitsville before deciding they wanted to “try again.”

Jordan tried to own up to his flip-flop during his press conference Tuesday in Los Angeles formally announcing his new deal with the Clippers.

“When we make decisions in life and go back and change our minds, I feel like the only thing you can do is man up and apologize for it,” he said.

Maybe a Christmas Day reunion in Dallas? The NBA schedule has yet to be released, but that would certainly draw some viewers.
