LeBron James famously abstains from social media during the NBA playoffs, saying he wants tunnel vision in his pursuit of a title.

This year, the hiatus lasted an extra week, as the (accurately) self-proclaimed “best player in the world” smarted from a six-game loss to the Warriors in the Finals — despite a superhuman effort of 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game for the shorthanded Cavaliers.

In a Facebook message posted Tuesday night, James shared a photo of his two sons on a roller coaster, saying support from his children and the Cleveland fans has helped cure his “funk.”

“I’m not satisfied… I’m not happy with the way things turned out,” James concluded. “I PROMISE to get better.”
