Woman busts cheating beau with help from his other girlfriends

How does a man have time to tell four different women they’re the only one for him?

Fatiah Rebbekkah, a 24-year-old stylist from Brooklyn, wanted the answer — so she hired a social media investigator to find out about her boyfriend.

Rebbekkah didn’t know that her boyfriend, Justin Matias (also from Brooklyn), was seeing other women. But when he started spending only one or two days a week with her, she knew the 25-year-old music producer she loved wasn’t everywhere he said he was.

Rebbekkah’s story is featured on Wednesday’s second episode of Oxygen’s new reality show “Player Gets Played,” which features real guys getting caught cheating by their girlfriends in the most modern way possible — through social media sleuthing.

What tipped Rebbekkah off to Matias’ shenanigans were his responses to women’s comments. “At first, I didn’t mind women commenting on his [social media networks],” says Rebbekkah. “But after a while, he was too quick to respond — and it was the same girls all the time commenting.”

In the episode, Rebbekkah notices a similar pattern in the results of Matias’ social media forensics report — which showed his interactions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Certain women had more messages exchanged than others. Rebbekkah reached out to three of those women to meet face-to-face.

And, as it turns out, all of them — Magaly, Iris and Diamond — claim to be the only woman in Justin’s life. Together they devise an elaborate plan to out Justin.

Rebbekkah says confronting each woman was the part that concerned her the most.

“I had to prepare myself for what could have been a toxic reaction,” she says. But she wasn’t concerned about how the whole ordeal would make her look on national TV.

“There was a moment where I thought of how Justin was going to feel,” she says, “but then I thought about how he’s been embarrassing me in front of his friends.” Oxygen says the intent of “Player Gets Played” is to show how women like Rebbekkah and her cohorts can find some common ground and move on from guys like Matias.

Since she caught Matias, Rebekkah says they no longer date, nor does he date any of the other women.

As for Matias, he sees his upcoming TV appearance as an opportunity to brighten his profile. On Instagram, he’s been relentlessly promoting his episode — telling everyone to watch “player get played.”
