Woman tapes ‘Judge Judy’, gets arrested for stealing on flight home

Judge Judy ruled against a Bronx woman in a case filmed earlier this week but the 26-year-old didn’t learn her lesson — she stole an iPad on the flight home, police sources said Thursday.

Melissa Perez of Wakefield was on an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to JFK Airport on Wednesday night with a pal who also appeared on the show when she allegedly snatched an iPad in a tote bag from a female flight attendant, according to Port Authority police sources.

The pilot made an announcement, asking passengers to search for the missing bag, and a crew member found it under Perez’s seat in 13A roughly 45 minutes before landing, the police sources said.

The bag was empty but the stolen iPad was in Perez’s carry-on, the police sources said.

She also swiped a 29-year-old passenger’s U.S. passport and Bank of America credit card — and hid it in her underwear, the sources said.

Perez’s travel buddy told Port Authority cops that Judge Judy had ruled against Perez but didn’t say what the case was about.

Perez was arrested for grand larceny, possession of stolen property and carrying a small amount of weed after the flight landed at 12 a.m. Thursday.

Perez has eight prior arrests, including drug charges.

Gary Rosen, a rep for Judge Judy, didn’t return calls or e-mails Thursday.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is a former Manhattan Supreme Court Justice.
