Thieves dug their way into bank in ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ style robbery

A Hollywood-style bank heist straight out of “Ocean’s Eleven” unfolded in Brooklyn when thieves armed with power tools burrowed their way under a Santander branch and stole an unknown amount of property, cops said.

The bandits broke into a vacant Bensonhurst store next to the bank at 23-57 86th St. near 24th Ave. on March 28 at around 1:30 p.m.

For the next 14 hours, the thieves dug their way into the banks’ vault through a connecting basement wall and floor.

Once they swiped the loot, they made a getaway. Cops are still hunting for the crooks.
