Sister sues brother for saying sex act was consensual

A New Jersey gaming magnate who pleaded guilty to a lesser assault charge after his sister accused him of sexually assaulting her is facing a new $2 million defamation suit from his sibling for claiming the act was consensual.

Laura Holland Treanor’s Manhattan Supreme Court suit against her brother, Michael Ready Treanor Jr., and his attorney, Joe Tacopina, also includes disturbing new details about the 2007 encounter.

Michael, head of the Nevele Casino and Resort, admitted to her while they were at a Meatpacking District bar on Jan. 30, 2007, that he was cheating on his wife with “several different women in Las Vegas,” Laura says in court papers.

Later that night, after grabbing her buttocks and trying to kiss her, Michael may have slipped his sister a date-rape drug, the suit says, because traces of gamma- hydroxybutyric acid were found in her blood.

He then “savagely attacked her” and forced his fingers into her, according to court papers.

Tacopina’s lawyer, Judd Burstein, called the case against his client “idiotic and absurd.”

Michael told The Post he didn’t realize his sister was suing him.

“I can’t comment on anything I don’t know about,” he said.
