Move over, Seinfeld: New Mets-loving comedian’s gone viral

Jerry Seinfeld might be the Mets’ most famous funny-fan, but comedian Jim Breuer might be the Mets’ most manic.

Breuer – promoting his upcoming special “Comic Frenzy,” which premieres next month on EPIX – has been regularly posting Mets-themed videos on his Facebook page.

And Breuer appeared on MLB Central, talking about the Mets’ solid NL East-leading 15-7 start and less-than-stellar history.

“Listen, Mets fans are like battered dogs. We got a nice home, and when the owner feeds us at night, we just take it in stride,’’ said Breuer, who starred in “Half Baked” and is a “Saturday Night Live” alum. “We’re very excited, but I don’t see the Mets in the World Series.’’

Don’t be surprised if you see Breuer’s mug during your next trip to Citi Field.

To the point where [the team] reached out and notified me. We’re going to be working on something.’’
