1. Get lined up
Once again, the Giants need to address their offensive and defensive lines. They must get a plug-and-play, road-grader guard and find at least one pass-rusher to help Jason Pierre-Paul from getting constant double-teams.
2. Secondary is primary
Have you seen the depth chart at safety? Enough said. Find a safety who can get some snaps on defense as a rookie, preferably a free safety adept in coverage.
3. More toys for Eli
One year after nabbing the wondrous Odell Beckham Jr., the Giants should provide Eli Manning with another target. Doesn’t have to be in the first round; this draft is replete with talented receivers.
Paul’s pick
Brandon Scherff, OL, Iowa
Let’s not over-think this. The Giants last season were a lousy running team and Schreff is the best run-blocker in this draft. He can start immediately at guard and may be able to play right tackle. This is a no-brainer.
