His nap turned into a nightmare. A thief picked the pocket of a man sleeping in the lobby of an East New York motel, authorities said. The prowler was talking to a worker at the front desk in the Linden Motor Inn on Conduit Boulevard near ­Eldert Lane at 9 a.m. on March 20 when he noticed the 38-year-old victim snoozing on a nearby bench. Surveillance video shows the suspect walking over to the deep sleeper, taking about $250 from the guy’s pocket and casually returning to the desk to finish the conversation.

A suspect is under arrest in the fatal stabbing of a man at a Brownsville housing project Thursday afternoon. James Freeman, 45, was taken into custody Friday for his alleged role in the death of 26-year-old Tjuan Rowell, cops said. Rowell was found with a stab wound to the stomach at the Howard Avenue Houses. The Crown Heights resident was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
Freeman was charged with manslaughter. Police sources said the slaying stemmed from an argument over money.

The Bronx

A group of hoods damaged security cameras at several Morris Heights apartment buildings, authorities said.
The vandals swept through buildings on a block-long stretch of Davidson Avenue from West Tremont Avenue to West Burnside Avenue in the early morning of March 27, according to cops.
Police said the suspects (three pictured at right) damaged security cams inside and outside the buildings.
According to investigators, there may have been additional dunderheads with this trio.

Investigators released a new sketch of a suspect wanted for groping three teens in Flushing. In each instance, the perv grabbed the victims’ crotch or rear over their clothes and then ran off, cops said. The creep first struck at 7 a.m. last Nov. 6, touching a 15-year-old girl at 60th Avenue and 136th Street, said law-enforcement authorities. After lying low for a few months, the suspect groped a 13-year-old girl on 58th Avenue near 134th Street at 7:50 a.m. on March 11, authorities said. His most recent attack came at 7:30 a.m. on March 23, when he victimized a 19-year-old woman near 59th Avenue and 136th Street. The suspect, believed to be in his 30s, stands about ­5-foot-8 and weighs about 170 pounds.
