Turnstile jumper caught with loaded pistol

Cops found a subway turnstile jumper in possession of a loaded pistol at the Times Square station, police said.

Officers witnessed Dashawn Hines, 23, pacing back and forth at the N/Q/R-line entrance just before 7 p.m. Monday and then hopping a turnstile, authorities said.

Cops apprehended him and found a .38 caliber Derringer with two bullets in his underwear, according to police.

“He could have just taken the gun right out and started shooting,” said Officer Andrew Marino, who collared Hines at the scene. “You never know.”
