Fashion Week creator Fern Mallis and Kanye West are one step closer to reconciling!
Mallis and West feuded back in February after Mallis told The Post she was “kind of over” West and “not a fan of his … attitude.” West hit back with a typically defensive Twitter tirade. But the two are working it out.
Mallis recently proposed a sit-down with West at the 92nd Street Y, where she hosts a “Fashion Icons” interview series. “His publicist got in touch with us,” Mallis tells Threads, “and asked if we could send a formal invitation.” According to Mallis, dates are still tentative. “We need to book it, otherwise we need to move on.”
She has plenty on her plate with the release of her book, “Fashion Icons With Fern Mallis,” based on her most noteworthy chats (due out April 14). One subject who didn’t make the cut? Model Lauren Hutton, who Mallis says was “challenging” to interview.
“She was just all over the place . . . I love her to death, but it was a little strange. In the middle of it, she asked if she could have a cigarette . . . She tried to change the lighting in the middle of it and the seats, and I was just like, ‘What’s going on here?’ ”
