Fox series makes a ‘Glee’-ful exit this week

“American Crime”

Thursday, 10 p.m., ABC

While police investigate the home-invasion death of Matt Skokie, his mother (Felicity Huffman) works with victims’ rights activist Nancy Straumberg (Lili Taylor), to get a hate crime charge leveled against Carter Nix (Elvis Nolasco).

Meanwhile, Alonzo Gutierrez (Benito Martinez) receives some disheartening news about his son’s case. Carter’s sister Aliyah (Regina King) visits him in jail but wastes time scolding him for dating that junkie Aubry (Caitlin Gerard).

“Glee”

Friday, 8 p.m., Fox

Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch, center) takes a selfie with the New Directions singers for the last episode of “Glee.”Tyler Golden/FOX

It’s time for the last song, the final medley on “Glee.” The show will go back in time to discover why the original members of New Directions signed up for the glee club.

Then the show will daringly flash forward to see how their lives change five years down the road.

This is a two-hour event that features an inexplicable appearance by Geraldo Rivera of Fox News as well as regulars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison and Dot-Marie Jones, among others.

“The Good Wife”

Sunday, 9 p.m., CBS

Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce) attacks Peter’s (Chris Noth) gubernatorial record as a campaign tactic, which forces Alicia (Julianna Margulies) to consider doing the same.

Meanwhile, her firm takes the case of a man who was paralyzed by a malfunctioning gun created by a 3-D printer, and Diane’s husband (Gary Cole) testifies as an expert witness, which leads to a rift between them.

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians”

Sunday, 9 p.m., E!

The 10th season premiere of this show may seem a little bit behind the times, what with the terrible events in Malibu on the Pacific Coast Highway that have allegedly put on hold Bruce Jenner’s plans to become a woman.

Here, the Kardashian clan struggle to adapt to life after Bruce and Kris’ divorce, which is made even more difficult by the rumor that he is on the rebound with one of Kris’ best friends.

Meanwhile, Kim is determined to get pregnant and give North a sibling.

“The Blacklist”

Thursday, 9 p.m., NBC

As evidence mounts against Liz (Megan Boone) in the case of the murdered DC harbor master, a federal judge makes it clear to her that she is facing stringent criminal charges.

Meanwhile, Reddington (James Spader) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) jump into high gear to exonerate Liz, but the only solution is to find the recently vanished Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold), her husband.

“Chicago Fire”

Tuesday, 10 p.m., NBC

During a harrowing call to a structure fire, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) rescues a trapped toddler, but the questionable circumstances surrounding the event send him on a personal mission to locate the father and get to the bottom of the situation.

Severide (Taylor Kinney) makes up for lost time by retracing key friendships from his adolescence, while Mills (Charlie Barnett) discovers some surprising news.

Elsewhere, Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Brett’s (Kara Killmer) relationship comes to a crucial juncture, while Otis (Yuri Sardarov) develops some unexpected feelings.

“The Royals”

Sunday, 10 p.m., E!

In the series premiere about a fictitious British royal family, a rambunctious Prince Liam (William Moseley) and dissolute Princess Eleanor (Alexandra Park) get trashed following the abrupt death of their older brother, Robert.

Meanwhile, Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) maintains the family’s image, and King Simon (Vincent Regan) wonders if it isn’t time to ask Parliament to abolish the monarchy.

“Empire”

Wednesday, 8 p.m., Fox

The two-hour season finale for this sensational show features a cavalcade of musical guests, including Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle and Rita Ora.

But there’s also a story to go with the songs. Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Lucious (Terrence Howard) are on their way to forming a music-centered relationship, but once again, Lucious has a secret that’s about to change everything.

Ever impatient, Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) decides to flirt with the enemy while trying to figure out what the best move is for his career. Meanwhile, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) is concocting a plan of her own.
