No Housewife does Instagram quite like Kristen Taekman.
The star of “The Real Housewives of New York City” has a feed full of glamorous snaps of herself — not so uncommon for a Real Housewife. But curiously, they’re rarely selfies, nor were these moments that paparazzi would have been around. So who’s taking these pictures?
“A lot of times it’s my husband, a lot of times it’s friends,” Taekman told The Post at her fellow Housewife Sonja Morgan’s fashion show Tuesday night at the Carriage House Center for the Arts. “And I’m not going to lie, one time I asked a stranger on the subway to take my picture.”
“A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do,” added cast mate Heather Thomson.
Luckily, Taekman’s husband Josh is getting used to being her personal photographer.
“I think he gets it now,” Taekman said. “It took him a minute, but now he realizes, like ‘Oh wow, it is kind of cool to pay attention to pictures and get good light and stuff.’ ”
Taekman came to the event following the Elie Tahari presentation, where models were sporting Taekman’s new nail-polish line, Pop of Color, coming soon to Ricky’s.
As for Morgan’s business ventures, Taekman was excited Morgan had pulled off the show — but still wondered about her elusive line of toaster ovens.
“I wish she’d come out with that darn toaster because I use my toaster oven like three times a day. I only cook with my toaster oven. So I’m waiting,” she said. “But no, I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
