Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski added to NBC’s Super Bowl pregame

The Super Bowl is about to get Super Fabulous, dahling.

NBC is adding flamboyant figure skater Johnny Weir and his sassy sidekick, Tara Lipinski, to its pregame broadcast.

“They have a unique perspective,” a network source tells The Post. “You get an enormous audience for the Super Bowl, and it’s not just football fans,” adds the source, who says any topic is fair game.

During their inaugural Super Bowl broadcast, the dynamic duo will be doing regular spots from the tailgate party and interviewing celebrities.

During the six-hour pregame show, their colorful commentary will be mixed in with the usual gridiron grind from seasoned sports broadcasters like Bob Costas, Josh Elliott and Dan Patrick.
Expect to see more of the former skaters in the first three or four hours of the program, which kicks off at noon.

After bursting onto the scene with the Sochi Olympics, Lipinski and Weir have become regulars on NBC Sports’ larger sports broadcasts including the Kentucky Derby.

No word yet on what Weir — who donned a giant white feathered fascinator at Churchill Downs — will wear.
