MTA putting an end to die-ins at Grand Central Terminal

The MTA will stop allowing anti-cop demonstrators to stage “die-ins” at Grand Central Terminal after two protesters got physical with officers Tuesday in the iconic Midtown rail hub.

Officials said they had been lenient about the relentless demonstrations taking place on the main concourse because the protesters were not “impeding customers,” but changed the policy when the demonstrators got rowdy.

“Two separate protesters got physical with police commanders,” MTA spokesman Adam Lisberg said.

“We had to make the first arrests since the protests began. We can’t and won’t tolerate attacks on our police.”

Two protesters were busted in the scuffle.
