The “Fifty Shades” surprises keep on coming.
On the heels of the release of The Weeknd’s sultry song from the film’s soundtrack, Ellie Goulding’s enchanting single “Love Me Like You Do” dropped Wednesday.
The song is more soulful than her usual Calvin Harris-esque work, while the lyrics are an obvious ode to the intense relationship between Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
“My head spinning around/I can’t see clear no more” is the only explanation why a naive college grad would follow a disturbed (albeit handsome) billionaire into the Red Room of Pain for some “play time.”
The “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack is set to hit Feb. 10, three days ahead of the movie’s release.
